Fizzy Moon Christmas Card
Hi everyone,
Well my Christmas cards are all made and mostly sent. I thought I would share another one with you this evening.
This is the card that I made for my Mum and Dad. I used Tulip Christmas papers and matted them on kraft paper - I like the way this made the different layers stand out. I then used a fizzy moon sticker as the focal point, which I think is really sweet. I also use glittery peel-offs on Christmas Cards a lot as I think they add some christmassy sparkle to the cards!!
I want to enter this card into the following challenges:
Emma's Crafty Challenge - Let it Snow
Papertake Weekly - Snow White
Divas by Design - Use some red
Thanks for looking.

Wales Daybook
Evening everyone,
A while ago, I blogged the daybook that I had made for our holiday to Wales. Well it is now finished so I thought I would share it with you. Here are a few of the pages - I will blog the rest another day.
I really enjoyed doing this book as it's a lot less formal than the traditional 12x12 scrapbook layouts. I'm also impressed that I have finished it as I'm not the best at finishing things! I'm still working on my wedding scrapbook and we got married 2 1/2 years ago!!
I'd love to hear your comments.
Thanks for looking

Here are some Tatty Teddy Christmas Cards that I have made.
I've made just over 50 cards this year so quite pleased with that! I'm sure that a lot of you have made more than that though!
I would like to enter the third card into the following challenges:

Oh Christmas Tree...
Hi everyone,
I've been busy making Christmas cards and have now done a total of 40 so I am nearly there but still got a few to make! I made this card using the Inkylicious Starter Pack that I bought at the Craft Fair in September. I don't usually make this kind of card so was a bit different for me! Think I need some more practise with the ink dusters but I am quite pleased with how it turned out. Going to try to do some more cards like this at the weekend. I used Faded Jeans and Dusty Concord Distress Inks.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Allsorts - Bring on the Bling
Cards Galore - Silhouette

My first daybook
Hi everyone,
Thought I would share something a bit different with you this evening. I recently joined a group on Facebook called "Daybook Delights". This is a fab group with so much inspiration. Have a look at Cathy Vee's blog to find out more about daybooks. (Also look at her daybooks - they are amazing!) Basically daybooks are like scrapbooks but they are more informal than the 12x12 layouts. You can buy daybooks and lots of accessories by Amy Tangerine, but a lot of people in the group make their own. After seeing all their fab books I was inspired to make my own and thought I would share it with you. Here are a few pictures...
I have sewn it together using some cord I had and just used a compass to make the holes - nothing fancy! Daybooks are great because you can use your scraps - they look more interesting if not all the pages are regular. I would normally go for all co-ordinated papers but wanted to go a bit random with this one (plus I didn't have a lot of double-sided papers to use!). I wanted to fill this book with photos and bits from our holiday in Wales. I have nearly finished it, so will post pictures when it's done.
Thanks for looking and would love to read your comments.

Christmas Cards
Hi everyone,
Well I am now well into my Christmas card making. Started a few weeks ago and I have to say it took me a while to get into it. Now very much enjoying it! With Christmas cards I like to spend a few hours doing a a fair few at a time, so have now done 3 sessions. Here are a few of the cards I have made...
For the first card, I used some of the things I have left over from previous years. I can't remember what the collections were called but know they were all Docrafts. I used my mum's grand calibur to cut the paper shape.
For the second card, I used this gorgeous fairy image from Docrafts - they are great for making quick small cards and only cost 25p per pack which is a bargain! The background paper is from the Docrafts Tulip range which is lovely - I'm having to ration myself with this as trying to use up some of my old stuff too! All the papers have a linen feel to them.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
J&C Creations - Contemporary Christmas
For the third card, I used a sticker I have had for ages and I think I may have got this paper free from a magazine. It's not the usual Christmas colours but it's sometimes nice to do something a bit different.
Have you all started your Christmas cards? It's nearly the end of October - time to going by very fast!
Thanks for looking and I always love to read your comments.

Christening Cards
Hi everyone,
Just a quick post from me this evening to show you two christening cards I have made...
The first is for a baby girl so I made it nice and pink and girly and used a forever friends bear.
The second was for an older girl of about 12 so I still wanted it quite girly but not so pink!
Thanks for looking! :o)

Craft Show Goodies
Hi Everyone,
Yesterday I went to the Creative Stitches and Hobbycraft Show in Exeter. It's an annual event for me and my mum - there's so much craft stuff I feel like a kid in a candy store! So here are the things I bought...
The box at the top was a show offer by Inkilicious - (I spent most of my money at that stall!) It had ink duster brushes, some card, an anti-static bag, some tags and some Christmas stamps.
If I was going to be using the ink dusters of course I needed distress inks, so bought Faded Jeans, Fired Brick and Dusty Concord! I also bought a load of different ribbons.
There was a stall full of wooden buttons called "Button It" and they were just gorgeous. It was so difficult trying to decide which ones to buy. I am working on a daybook for our recent holiday in Wales so had to get the Wales shield and Beside the Seaside for that and some Christmassy ones. They can be also be coloured with pens or pencils.
Now I just have to find space to put all this in my craft room! Watch this space for the cards etc I make with my new goodies!!
