Seaside Card

Afternoon everyone,

After all the housework, I've managed to finish off a card this afternoon. It was my birthday a few weeks ago and I received some of the lovely Michael Powell stamps and papers. I wanted to use these and enter Emma's Crafty Challenge which has the theme of "The Sea". I also wanted to enter another challenge which had a black and white theme but was too slow to enter! It was a good challenge just using greys though and I was pleased with the result I got from my copics.

I would also like to enter this into The Poodles Parlour Challenge - Anything Goes.

I hope you like this card and I welcome all comments.

Thanks

White on White

Hi everyone,

Just a quite post to show the card I have made for this month's Cards Galore Challenge "White on White" Challenge. I have to say I found this quite a challenge as I usually put lots of colour on my cards or choose a particular colour scheme. I don't have die cutting machine so went over to my Mum's to use her cuttlebug and various dies and found a few things in my craft stash that I could use!

I hope you like the result. As always thanks for looking and I appreciate any comments.

Strictly Party Birthday Card + Present

Evening bloggers,

I hope you have all managed to enjoy the lovely weather that has finally arrived. This weekend it was one of my friends' 30th birthday. She loves pink so thought the free Strictly Party stamps I got with the latest Docrafts Creativity magazine would be perfect for her card.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Divas by Design - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly Challenge - All things girlie

I also made her a charm bracelet. The charms I put on it were a 'V' which is her initial, a hummingbird, a key and some stars.

I think she liked it as she put it on straight away and wore it for her party!

Thanks for looking and I appreciate your comments.

Skin: E000, E00, E21

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

I am also pleased to say that I won blog of the week in the Facebook group Emma's Hints, Tips and Crafty Inspiration, so was really pleased and now have a lovely new twinkly badge for my blog!

Thanks for looking and hope you all have a nice weekend.

Boofle!

Hi everyone,

What a horrible day! We've had rain and winds non-stop since yesterday down here in Devon. Thankfully our house was ok, but I know there has been flooding in other towns nearby. I really feel for the people whose houses have flooded - must be terrible.

On a lighter note, here is a Boofle card I made a while ago. Really love Boofle and all the papers etc. I was really pleased with this card. I found that in the Bird Song papers, there were some that were perfect for my Boofle stamp, so I used the darker brown for his body, the lighter brown for his face and a very dark brown card for his nose. This made him look like he was knitted!

I want to enter this card into the following challenge:

The Ribbon Girl - "Girly Card"

Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hedgehog Birthday Card

Hi all,

I haven't done any crafting this week as my craft desk is packed up so that hubby can put up some shelves for me and my ever growing craft stash! I have quite a few cards that I made recently which I haven't put on my blog, so thought I would blog about them this week.

This is a birthday card I made for my mother-in-law. I had just bought a new First Edition Paper Pad called "New Leaf" so was keen to use that and thought this Penny Black stamp would go perfectly with it! I coloured it with a mixture of promarkers and copics. I love the pale greens and oranges of these papers.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Allsorts Challenge - In bloom
The Crafty Bloggers Network - Anything goes

Thanks for looking - I hope you like it!
