Bird Thank You Card
Evening all,
Today I am going to share a Thank You Card that I made last year but never blogged.
The card was for a man so wanted to make it masculine. I used some script stamps for the background, and the bird and music stamps are from one of the Urban Stamp sets by DoCrafts. I twisted the ribbon randomly before adding it on. I haven't done this before or since but think it adds a different dimension. I then added some brown adhesive pearls and some buttons.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

DoCrafts Card Makers Challenge - Anything Goes
Thanks for looking and I'd love to know what you think...

Happy Valentine's Day
Evening everyone,
I hope you have all had a nice Valentine's Day. Well my hubby took me to the dentist... and they say romance is dead!! He did give me a nice card and some chocolates too though so they cheered me up!
Here is the card that I made for him. Just after Christmas I ordered some fab new craft stuff and it arrived whilst I was ill so was keen to use them when I felt better. It included the new Chronology papers by Docrafts which I love. I used walnut stain on everything apart from the white blank card as I wanted everything to have that distressed feel to it.
I was really pleased when I found the "LOVE" rub-on as it was just a random pack that I have had for years and I don't really have any sentiment stamps or anything for Valentine's Day so wasn't sure what I would use.
I'm really pleased with how it turned out, and hubby really liked it too!
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Jewellery
Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't blogged for soooo long. I was struck down by a vicious flu virus so had 2 weeks off work and then one week only half days to ease myself back into real life! Haven't been that ill in a long time, but glad to say although I am still a bit tired I am feeling much better now.
Before I was ill, I made a necklace and some earrings for a friend's big birthday...
I thought the little humming bird was really cute, so wanted that to be the main focus.
I then added some leaves a bit further up along with a few tiny beads just so there was a bit of colour other than silver.
I made some earings to match with leaves and tiny beads.
My friend seemed pleased with them, so I hope she gets lots of pleasure out of wearing them.
I would love to hear your comments on them. I plan to get back into crafting now I'm better so hopefully will have lots more to show you soon!
Thanks for looking.
Katie xx
