Hedgehog Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

This evening I have a birthday card to show you.

The image is a gorgeous Penny Black stamp. I love the hedgehog stamps that they do. I coloured it in a while ago so can't remember what colours I used but I think I used all promarkers for this one. I love the light green I used on the watering can - this was one I borrowed from my mum - must try to get one of those for myself! I wouldn't normally use this many different colours but it just kind of evolved! I used my cuttlebug to emboss the pink band along the back - this is Coredinations card and called "Love Potion"!!

Thank you cards

As this is the first post of 2013, Happy New Year! After all the fab pressies I received I am in the process of making some Thank You cards to send out, so here are the first two.

 

For these cards I used the Garden Party papers by Dovecraft that I recieved for Christmas along with matching ribbons. The flower stamps are from the Docrafts Hampstead collection. I made one and as the layout and colours worked well I though I would make another one fairly similar.

Fizzy Moon Christmas Card

Hi everyone,

Well my Christmas cards are all made and mostly sent. I thought I would share another one with you this evening.

This is the card that I made for my Mum and Dad. I used Tulip Christmas papers and matted them on kraft paper - I like the way this made the different layers stand out. I then used a fizzy moon sticker as the focal point, which I think is really sweet. I also use glittery peel-offs on Christmas Cards a lot as I think they add some christmassy sparkle to the cards!!

Wales Daybook

Evening everyone,

A while ago, I blogged the daybook that I had made for our holiday to Wales. Well it is now finished so I thought I would share it with you. Here are a few of the pages - I will blog the rest another day.

I really enjoyed doing this book as it's a lot less formal than the traditional 12x12 scrapbook layouts. I'm also impressed that I have finished it as I'm not the best at finishing things! I'm still working on my wedding scrapbook and we got married 2 1/2 years ago!!

Tatty Teddy Christmas Cards

Evening all,

I haven't been blogging much lately as I have been really busy trying to get all my Christmas cards made. I have now finished... I think! There are always a few people that you forget until you are writing them so I fully expect to have to make a few more quick ones!

Oh Christmas Tree...

Hi everyone,

I've been busy making Christmas cards and have now done a total of 40 so I am nearly there but still got a few to make! I made this card using the Inkylicious Starter Pack that I bought at the Craft Fair in September. I don't usually make this kind of card so was a bit different for me! Think I need some more practise with the ink dusters but I am quite pleased with how it turned out. Going to try to do some more cards like this at the weekend. I used Faded Jeans and Dusty Concord Distress Inks.
